Add Access Internet to the Phonebook

  1. Double click My Computer
    Double click Dial-Up Networking
    Click More and select Edit entry and modem properties...

  2. Select the Server tab
    In the Network Protocols
    • Check TCP/IP
    • Uncheck IPX/SPX Compatible
    • Uncheck NetBEUI

    Check Enable software compression
    Uncheck Enable PPP LCP extensions

    Click TCP/IP Settings...
    Select Server assigned IP address
    Select Specify name server address
    In the Primary DNS enter: 64.240.196.2
    In the Secondary DNS enter: 64.240.196.3
    Uncheck Use IP header compression
    Check Use deafult gateway on remote network
    Click OK

  3. Select the Script tab
    Select Run this script and choose Generic Login

    Click Edit script...
    Scroll down looking for the following lines:

    ; The following two lines cause RAS to ignore all responese
    ; until the remote computer requests your login name. If the remote
    ; computer prompts you with a word other than login you must
    ; replace ogin: in the line below with the exact text the
    ; remote computer uses.

    Under this text type in:

    OK="ost:"
    LOOP=
    COMMAND=ppp

    Click File
    Click Save

    Click X at top right to exit.


    You should now be back in the Script tab
    Click OK

  4. You are now ready to Dial!
    Click Dial
