Supra has now released a beta version of its V.90 firmware update for its Supra PC Card 56K modem. This follows the release last week of a V.90 update for its SupraExpress 56K modems (as covered here previously). You can get both updates from the Diamond Beta Firmware site <http://beta.supra.com/>.
In both cases, the package includes a downgrade flasher, in case you want to return to the K56Flex firmware. As noted by Diamond Multimedia: "Since the majority of ISP's do not have official, non-Beta V.90 code in their servers, we cannot expect that a V.90 upgrade for a customer's modem will immediately result in better connections, or even any connection at all. As a result, we are including a K56Flex 'downgrade' flasher in all V.90 upgrade bundles we release."
