Change your Dial-Up Number

Windows 95/98

  1. Double-click My Computer.

  2. Double-click Dial-Up Networking.

  3. Right-click on the connection icon you wish to change, and from the menu, choose Properties.

  4. Enter the new phone number in the Phone Number field.

  5. Click OK.

Windows NT 4.0

  1. Double-click My Computer.

  2. Double-click Dial-Up Networking.

  3. From the More menu, choose Edit....

  4. Enter the new phone number in the Phone Number field.

  5. Click OK.

Windows 3.x

  1. Open the Trumpet Winsock.

  2. On the menu bar, click Dialler.

  3. Click setup.cmd.

  4. Enter the new phone number in the Phone Number field.

  5. Click OK.

Macintosh

  1. Click on Apple Menu Items and point to Control Panels.

  2. Select OT/PPP, FreePPP, Config PPP, or PPP.

  3. In Config PPP click Config button.

  4. Enter the new phone number in the Phone Number field.

  5. Click OK.
