Using the procmail user utility

First let's take a look at the new entry section:

There are several parts to an entry section:

This is the only part that is specific to the new entry section, it allows you to select where in the list of entries you want this entry to go.

This botton adds a textbox for you to enter comments or variable assignments into.

This button erases this entry... it also erases any entries that are nested within this entry.

This button submits your changes to this entry... these changes ONLY apply to THIS ENTRY.

This button allows you to add aditional condidtions which ALL must match for the action to be taken.

This button submits your changes to ONLY the comment box next to it. If the comment box is empty it will be erased.

Normally when an incomming message matches an entry it isn't compared against subsequent entries. Checking this box makes message continue down through the procmail entries regardless of whether this entry matches.

Normally all comparisons are case-insensitive.
Checking this box makes comparisons case-sensitive.

Normally only the message headers are matched against. Checking this box makes procmail match this rule against the whole message.

The "other" box is for any other procmail flags you may want to use. See procmailrc(5).
